The Family Service of the University of Graz provides information and advice for parents (to be), internationally mobile families as well as family carers and coordinates the family-friendly campus.

Kids' room at the University of Graz
Breastfeeding room, nursing room, playroom, family room, parent-child room, consumption-free room, retreat on campus, bad weather oasis.
At the University of Graz, a "kids' room" has been set up in the main library for children accompanied by adult carers.

There is no organised childcare in the kids' room. The kids' room is not to be used as a workspace, but as a lounge for people with children. Users of the kids' room show consideration for each other when using the room at the same time.
Parents, but also lecturers, conference guests and event organisers at the University of Graz can have access. If required, the kids' room can be reserved for childcare during events.
You can obtain an access card from the Family Service. The access card is transferable, liability always lies with the person authorised to access the room.
