Green, but still in the city centre is the city park. A playground and nice cafés can be found here. Tip: take a walk up and down the Double Spiral Staircase at Graz Burg (always open, no entrance fee).
Schlossberg and Fairytale Railway Graz
The Schlossberg in the centre of Graz can be reached on foot, by lift or with the Schlossbergbahn. It is ideal for walks and offers a great view of Graz.
The Fairytale Railway (Märchenbahn) is open to children aged four and over. You and your children can discover fairytale characters on a ride through the mountain. Only recommended with warm clothing.
