Flexible short-term care in Graz/Graz area
Day care only can be used for demand-orientated support or as a gentle introduction to 24-hour care. For people of all care levels who do not need or want care at night, for example if night care is provided by relatives living in the same household or if there is no separate room for carers.

Visiting services
Volunteers from the City Library regularly bring books, magazines or films to the homes of older people or people with limited mobility and have time to read aloud or have a cosy chat.
The visiting service is there for people who are either alone and lonely or whose carers need support. The visiting service regularly comes to people's homes or nursing homes.
This service does not replace mobile care or permanent care, but serves to bridge the initial period after hospitalisation. Volunteer carers are available in the Graz area, in Grambach, Fernitz, Kalsdorf and Gratkorn as well as in parts of the Weiz district and in the Fürstenfeld and Feldbach areas to provide "accompaniment from hospital to home".
